Fall/Winter 2009

So....what have we been up to...for starters neglecting the blog, as soon as school started we all got super busy once again. JT currently holds a part time job and is finishing his Sr Year at Murray High, he has applied to the U of U and we hope to hear back from them any day now. He managed to get a 29 on his ACT, coz he is AWESOME. Bianca continues to dance and socialize :) She is applying herself in school and hopes to complete some concurrent enrollment credits while at Murray High. The high point of her fall/winter was attending the COLDPLAY concert with JT.

Mike, loves orchestra, astronomy and school. He is doing really well. We started going to the Clark Planetarium and hope to see ALL THE STAR and IMAX shows. We are on a roll.

Work has been challenging but rewarding. Life is grand and we are very grateful for the many blessings in our lives.

Bob is doing great, we are looking forward to the BBBW (Bobby Birthday Bash Weekend) which comes along right with Valen-TIMES day. Our new puppy Max is a daily source of joy...

JT's is a very talented photographer with a special eye for nature, one of his pictures is going to a regional contest.

Bianca performed during her Holiday Recital, she also performed at the Festival of Trees.

Michael during his performance, the Orchestra Concert at Dixon Middle School. He was really good!

Here are the first pics of the puppy. He is all you can imagine an adorable creature would be. Soft, sweet, cuddly and we are crazy about him.

Some of our fav visitors are in these pics...The girls just sort of giggle all day and night, make prank calls, text their other friends to update them on who likes who and why...watch movies....and eat a lot of candy.

FUN TIMES!

Birthday time ...Bianca turns 15 and JT turns 18...

I cannot believe JT is 18. SHOCKED AND AMUSED.

We decided to go to the Oasis Cafe, a vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant located in downtown Salt Lake City. I loved the food and vibe of it and did not hesitate to book our family brunch there on Saturday November 1st. We invited our family, of course and our dearest friend Dan.

"Tiny cousins" were not able to attend, since my brother Camilo worked a graveyard shift at the hospital, we missed them! Mason and Josh keep us on our toes and are too adorable for words. Grandma Gloria is extremely proud of JT and Bianca and she shows it :)

Over the span of 2 hours we visited, laughed and enjoyed delicious food. JT was thrilled to have uncle Camilo Jose there to talk "music" with. Bianca and Mason had their usual love fest going. We will hang out at this restaurant for sure again, the kids got a vegan chocolate cake that would rival any other around. The staff was helpful and prompt. We loved the Huevos Rancheros and the breakfast burrito.
